Galilea team takes your privacy seriously. This is why we do not collect any of your personally identifiable data. We do not sell any of your data, personally identifiable or otherwise. There is no tracking, ads or user accounts
The app will ask you to allow access to several types of your personal data, which is used solely for its normal functioning:
calendar data (to display events)
contacts data (only in case you share calendars/events with others)
location data (for weather forecast and astronomical calculations, like daytime/nighttime, moon visibility and phases)
For the purpose of weather forecast, a GPS coordinate of your current location is sent within an API call to the OpenWeather.
If you subscribe to CircleTime Premium, we will receive some non-personally identifiable data, such as the type of subscription and its expiration date.
Personally Identifiable Information
CircleTime app does not gather or transmit any personally identifiable information.
Analytics and crash reporting
In order to get insight into user engagement time, user retention and similar statistics we use Firebase Analytics service by Google. To limit tracking, this Analytics version does not use unique device identifiers for advertising. We may send anonymised events to this service to help us understand general trends in usage and performance of the app.
For example, we keep tabs on how frequently the app requests weather forecast data, which helps us decide on a proper plan selection. We don’t send anything personally identifiable - none of your personal data is ever transmitted.
We also use Firebase Crashlytics service (also by Google) for tracking crashes and app stability. This lets us see anonymised data about the number and type of errors so we can fix them promptly and efficiently.
Types of data processed by these Google services include your geographic position, device type, version of operating system and version of app used.
